SAFETY COURSES

The Safety Course at SMG Fire & Safety Institute is designed for students who aim to build a career in Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS). This program focuses on creating safety professionals who can identify hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive measures to protect people, property, and the environment.

During the course, students learn about industrial hazards, personal protective equipment (PPE), safety signs, accident investigation, electrical & chemical safety, risk management, workplace ergonomics, and environmental safety practices.

Students are also trained in first aid, emergency evacuation planning, and compliance with legal standards such as Factories Act, OSHA, and IS/NBC guidelines.
