Admission Process

SMG Fire and Safety Institute (SMGFASI) follows a systematic and transparent admission process, ensuring equal opportunity to every eligible candidate. Admissions are carried out strictly on merit basis and eligibility criteria as per course requirements.

Step 1: Application Form Submission

Candidates must obtain the Application Form either from the institute office or download it from the official website / app.

The form must be duly filled with personal, academic, and contact details.

Attach photocopies of all required documents.

Step 2: Document Verification

Applicants are required to submit self-attested copies of the following documents along with the form:

Mark sheets / Certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation – as per course eligibility)

Transfer Certificate / Character Certificate (if applicable)

Aadhaar Card / Government ID Proof

Passport Size Photographs (4 copies)

Driving License (for Fire Driver / Pump Operator course only)

Step 3: Eligibility Screening

The admission committee will verify the documents.

Eligible candidates may be called for counseling / physical fitness test (depending on course).

Final selection is based on eligibility criteria and availability of seats.

Step 4: Admission Confirmation

Selected candidates will receive an Admission Offer Letter from the institute.

Admission will be confirmed only after payment of the prescribed course fee (either in full or as per installment plan).

On successful payment, students will be issued an Admission Receipt & Enrollment Number.

Step 5: Orientation & Training Commencement

Admitted students must attend the Orientation Program conducted at the beginning of the session.

Academic and practical training classes commence as per the official academic calendar.

Important Instructions

All admissions are strictly subject to eligibility and availability of seats.

The institute reserves the right to reject any incomplete / false application.

Fees once paid are non-refundable (except under institute’s refund policy, if any).

Students must strictly follow the rules, discipline, and code of conduct of the institute.
